Bizathon for Girls powered by Google #40Forward campaign


nascom 10000 GIT10,000 Start-ups presents Girls in Tech – an initiative that has been launched to prepare women for key technology Founder/Co-founder roles in startups. The initiative also aims to bring more women in the tech startup space.

Powered by Google’s #40Forward challenge, NASSCOM 10000 Startups is proud to be a part of an international program that is providing assistance and funding to help increase the representation of women entrepreneurs in their startup communities. NASSCOM 10,000 Startups is amongst the 40 startup communities that‘s actively working to create new approaches to increase women in the technology by 25% in 2014.

Bizathon for Girls 

A two-day long event for women, participants will have an action packed 20 hours  to get hands-on experience in validating an idea, building a business plan, marketing and design. This event is being organized in partnership with Jnaapti and can be attended by those interested in art, design, coding and business development.

How to mix and match colors, what is RGB? various color pallette analysing – why some colors are used in things like buttons, pages etc. Various open source color picking tools for mobile, computer etc.
Tech Track Connecting The Dots, Bits, Languages and alike

  • Introduction to Open source operating system – Linux
  • Introduction to Programming Languages – Concepts Involved in Programming – Coding examples – Hands – on Skill development session.

Prerequisites: A good browser (Google Chrome / Firefox) .Linux operating system (Ubuntu) is an added advantage, but not Mandatory.

Business Track Introduction to Business Model CanvasWhat are the challenges – Building a company from scratch – Marketing your company – Presenting yourself – How to sell your product – Introduction to lean startup.
