Innotrek 2016, held from May 2nd-7th, concluded with a bang yesterday. The opening day offered the best of our startups an opportunity to meet and greet the best of valley faces. Our startups attended a slew of workshops and mentoring sessions hosted by Global investors, best speakers and the brightest entrepreneurs on day 1.
Followed by a spectacular opening, day 2 sparked the energy of our young entrepreneurs to another level at Palo Alto on May 3rd. Day 2 was a more potent follow up of day 1 with more weighty sessions followed by Ravi Gururaj and Ravi Tondon’s briefing. Our stellar techies began their day with the opening note on Building a High Performance Startup. Following that, Moderators Prem Talreja, Kamal Anand, Sanjay Uppal, Rajan Raghavan and Job Baer held a brilliant session on Building a Great Enterprise Startup. Indian focused VC Panel including eminent faces like Dinesh Katiyar, Ashish Gupta, Ash Lillani and Ankur Jain enlightened our entrepreneurs more about business and enterprises.
Startups were given a rundown on What Silicon Valley Angels Look For by Harvard Angels’ David Emerson, Band of Angels’ Ronald Wiessman, SandHill Angels’ Jim Connors following a session with Karl Mehta from EdCast. Another session on Transitioning to a Valley Startup raised a toast to entrepreneurship amid influential faces like Krishna Mehra, Mohit Garg, Indus Khaitan and Anindo Sengupta.
The evening was sparked with another brilliant hour spearheaded by the profound panel including Tim Guleri, Minal Hasan, Mohanjit Jolly and Tom Dennedy. The day came to an end with riveting key notes delivered by Julie Chou and Ben Parr.
Our tech squad will be next touring the Apple, Facebook and Google campuses on May 4th, day 3 of the event.
