NASSCOM 10,000 Start-ups Innotrek 2014, Silicon Valley

Over the years, India has been at the forefront of pushing out some incredibly disruptive technology product companies such as Druva Inc, FusionCharts, SlideShare and InMobi to mention a few. Seeing the rising number of tech startups in the country who are ready to take on the world, NASSCOM set up the 10,000 Start-Ups program in 2013.The initiative was started with the aim of incubating, funding and supporting 10,000 startups in India over the next 10 years and building India one of the world’s most vibrant ecosystems in technology innovation. A year down the line, the 10,000 startups program has selected 24 emerging and early stage product startups for NASSCOM InnoTrek.

InnoTrek is the first-of-its-kind delegation that will be traveling to Silicon Valley from the 12th – 17th of May, 2014. The idea behind InnoTrek is to showcase some of India’s most promising tech startups who are addressing a global market and provide these future leaders with the opportunity to interact with Global giants such as Google and Dropbox. Not only that, they will also get the opportunity to interact with global tech stalwarts such as Vinod Khosla – Founder of Sun Microsystem and Khosla Ventures, Pramod Haque – Senior Managing Partner at Norwest Ventures and Neeraj Arora, VP & Business Development Head at WhatApp.

Capillary: Builds technology to help merchants understand customer purchase behavior and provide real-time personalized recommendations to shoppers and offer relevant offers across all channels.

Sapience: Productivity audit tool that provides knowledge industry employees with daily balance sheet and self-audit tools to improve productivity.

Global Delight: This company has developed some of the most memorable Apple store apps from India with over 35 million downloads across its portfolio.

Web Engage: Enables online businesses improve sales and collects customer insight on their website in real time.

TeliBrahma: Offers contextual mobile solutions combined with a powerful, lightweight AR platform.

freeCharge: An online bill payment and prepaid top-up platform

ShepHertz: Offers services for building multi-player games, cloud-based project management and applications in Android or HTML5.

NowFloats: Helps take SMBs online using SMS as a communications channel

Tookitaki: An advertising platform to optimize real time ad buying and increase upper funnel conversion rates.
