Nasscom Startups ( previously 10000 startups) , launched in 2013, is a flagship initiative by Nasscom supported by various state governments aimed at transforming the tech startup ecosystem in India by scaling it 10x. The program is dedicated to empowering technology startups through incubation, funding, enterprise partnerships, and a robust support framework for technology startups in India. It fosters entrepreneurship, builds entrepreneurial capabilities, and strengthens the foundation for tech-driven innovation across the country. This initiative brings together critical stakeholders of the ecosystem including start-up incubators, accelerators, angel investors, venture capitalists, start-up support groups, mentors, government, and technology corporations.
Over the past decade, the program has impacted over 11500 startups, funded 650 startups, and has led over 5500 global immersions. Its flagship initiative, Nasscom Industry Partnership Program (NIPP), stands as India’s largest industry-backed Open Innovation platform, enabling sustained collaboration between large enterprises and innovative technology startups. Key focus areas include scaling startups in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, empowering women entrepreneurs through the Tech.WE Program, and driving advocacy for business-friendly policies.
